DICOM MEDIA SUPPORT
MediPACS can directly import images from DICOM Media and also can export selected studies to a folder in
DICOM removable media format.

DICOM STORAGE COMMITMENT
This DICOM service a key part of “Image Management” because it shifts the responsibility for maintaining
and storing the images from the modality, to the PACS archive. MediPACS Server’s support of storage
commitment allows modality stations to automatically free up and reuse valuable local disk space without
user interaction. Short-Term Archive and Long-Term Archive
Support for Long-Term Archive Directories for each source AE, and the option to Automatically Age images
stored in the Short-Term Archive Directories (default) to the defined Long-Term Archive Directories based
on User-Defined Aging Period

MULTI-SITE SERVERS
MediPACS Server supports rule-based auto-forwarding of images. For example, a satellite site server can 
forward all images to a central server for permanent archiving.

Web Distribution
MediPACS authenticated users can easily access and browse (also remotely) the stored images, depending
on rights granted to each user , using any internet browser (FireFox, Internet explorer, … etc) on any PC
connected to the institution’s local network or through a secured Internet connection.

Web Viewer
MediPACS can also include a web-based DICOM image viewer which allows displaying DICOM images. It
allows retrieving available images, displaying them in several different ways and performing advanced Image
Processing operations on them.

Modality Worklist Server
MediPACS has an easy to use patient and study management system with an integrated DICOM Modality 
Worklist Server where any modality in your facility can efficiently retrieve patient and study information’s;
Patient data is entered only once and this will reduce time & costs and save and prevent errors.

SECURE
System administrators can control who can access user information and images.
MediPACS Server can also communicate over the internet using SSL with 128-bit encryption certification.

USER VALIDATION
MediPACS Server set to verify AE titles before giving access. System administrator can also control what
station can query, store or retrieve images.

HIPAA COMPLIANT
MediPACS Server supports access control to image and patient information and extensive user activity l
ogging.
